I live in Hurricane Alley in Florida and you’d think I’d know better but I haven’t read the FEMA guide either. I’m with you. I’ll be reading it this weekend too.

I have never experienced a tomato warning…I mean, a torpedo warning. Or, even a tornado warning. Sounds pretty scary even though I love tomatoes.

And, speaking of husbands, I’m pretty sure mine would be a tornado chaser. Thankfully he won’t get a chance to do that in our neck of the woods.

I’m from a little town in Northern Oklahoma that is somewhat known for getting skipped over by tornadoes, so when the sirens go off here, we walk outside to check the skies before seeking shelter. Awful, isn’t it? It’s sort of a running joke here.

I love the torpedo/tomato comments! Too cute.

(Unrelated note) Thanks again for the allergy advice. I REALLY appreciate hearing from people with experience.
