I live in Hurricane Alley in Florida and you'd think I'd know better but I haven't read the FEMA guide either. I'm with you. I'll be reading it this weekend too.

I have never experienced a tomato warning...I mean, a torpedo warning. Or, even a tornado warning. Sounds pretty scary even though I love tomatoes.

And, speaking of husbands, I'm pretty sure mine would be a tornado chaser. Thankfully he won't get a chance to do that in our neck of the woods.

I think my husband would fit in perfectly in your town. He sat upstairs and said "I'll come down if I see something"

I was happy to help. I had lots of help when I was starting out with allergies so I try to pass it on. Feel free to ping me with any questions. (And sorry your comment sat in comment purgatory for 2 days... I'm not always the best at checking my site every day!)

I'm from a little town in Northern Oklahoma that is somewhat known for getting skipped over by tornadoes, so when the sirens go off here, we walk outside to check the skies before seeking shelter. Awful, isn't it? It's sort of a running joke here.

I love the torpedo/tomato comments! Too cute.

(Unrelated note) Thanks again for the allergy advice. I REALLY appreciate hearing from people with experience.
