		<description>Emily, The original recipe comes from the cookbook mentioned at the top of the article. However I think the calorie count will be similar. If you want to cut calories you can use skim milk and yogurt. You might also try substituting applesauce for the butter. However both those will make the pancakes more carby so you might eat more.. and it will impact flavor. My personal preference is to have the extra fat/flavor and eat a little less to compensate. Especially since the fat is filling.</description>
